Beruwela

As the earliest Muslim community in Sri Lanka, Beruwala is notable for serving as a reminder of Sri Lanka's multicultural and pluralistic past. It is one of the largest and busiest vacation resort areas on the islands, located close to 60 kilometers from the capital, Colombo. This mosque, located on the outskirts of town, is the island's oldest mosque on record and well worth a visit.
